Children's Ministries
Kiesha Henry, Children's Pastor
South Church of the Nazarene
Our Mission
Together with families, we will lay a foundation of God's word in the hearts of children so
they will come to know Jesus and grow in faith.
Worship
What is worship? It's
showing God how much
we love Him and telling
Him how thankful we
are for all the things He
created. South Church
has a special time for
kids to worship in their
own service. Worship
includes bible
memorization, songs,
stories, games and prizes.

Bible Quizzing
Each year children study a book of the Bible and participate in
quiz meets. This is a great way to hide God's Word in your heart,
meet other kids around Michigan, and perhaps earn some awards.
Caravans
The caravan ministry is a scouting-like program with focuses on physical, spiritual, mental
and social areas of development. Activities include crafts, fields trips, earning badges in
areas such as skating, cooking, bike riding, and collecting. Students are recognized at award
ceremonies and at the annual Caravan Round-Up in June. Caravans is offered for children
four years old through sixth grade.
