CRISIS CARE KITS
A very special THANK YOU to those who have helped us with the Crisis Care Kits.
So far we have sent 22 boxes for a total of 132 kits. We still have about 30 bags
out that need to be filled and turned in. We must have them no later than
Sunday, March 14th. If you have one only partially done, please bring it as is and
we will try to finish it for you.
ONLINE CHURCH DIRECTORY INFORMATION
There have been some concerns expressed about our new Online Church Picture
Directory. We want to assure everyone that our Church Picture Directory Policy
places a top priority on safeguarding all our information. Any information in our
directory will be password protected and secure from the general public. Only
church members will have access granted to the directory, and no one who is not
a part of the church will have the ability to search or access our database. We
will make sure our directory information is completely secure.
NAZARENE MISSIONS INTERNATIONAL PRESENTS A SPECIAL SHOWING OF
THE JESUS FILM: MAGDALENA
Wednesday night at 7pm NMI will present Magdalena: Through Her Eyes, a
special version of the story of Jesus as seen through the eyes of Mary
Magdalene. The Jesus Film has been the means God has used to bring millions of
people to Himself. Come see why.
MEMBERSHIP OPPORTUNITY
Membership classes will be held Wednesday, March 17th, at 7 p.m. and
Saturday, March 20th, at 10 a.m, for approximately one hour each; you only need
to attend one of these dates. If you are interested in becoming a member of the
church either by joining or transferring membership, please complete the
Welcome Class Information Sheet available online or at the Welcome Desk.
New members: please indicate which class you will participate in on the form.
DISTRICT CONVERSATIONS
Tomorrow, March 8th, South Naz is hosting a District Conversation at 7pm. This is
open to all board members and other leaders in the church. You are encouraged
to participate if possible.
ALL CHURCH SPRING RETREAT
The Michigan Tri-District Summit will be held at Saginaw Valley Church of the
Nazarene on Sunday, March 14, 5 p.m. & Monday, March 15th, from 8 a.m. until
3:30 p.m. No registration or fee required, lunch on your own. If you plan to
participate in this retreat opportunity and would like to car pool, please indicate
this on the Friendship Register or call the church office, 882-5775, to let us know.

Vert. These have been posted on the bulletin board by the elevator.
VOLUNTEER NEEDED
Pastor Kiesha needs a volunteer ASAP for the 1 year old room during Sunday
School. If you are willing and able to help please either talk to Pastor Kiesha or e-

EASTER EGG-STRAVAGANZA
You and your family won’t want to miss our Community Easter Egg Hunt on
Saturday, April 4th, beginning at 10:30a.m. Kids ages 1 year through 6th grade
are invited to participate. 30 + volunteers are needed to make this a success! If
you are interested in helping, please stop by the Egg Hunt table and sign up
today. Last year we had over 2,000 Easter Eggs filled with candy for our egg
hunt; this year’s goal is 3,000 and we need your help. We are collecting plastic
eggs and individually wrapped pieces of candy to fill them.
CASTAWAY CAFÉ = FAMILY FUN
Castaway Café in Howell is Michigan’s largest indoor play structure built for
adults and children. Pastor Kiesha is planning a time of Family Fun on Saturday,
March 20th, so we can share this experience. Cost is $6 for children and adults
are free! We will leave the church at 11am. If you plan to join us please indicate
the number attending on the Friendship Register or sign up at the Welcome
Desk. Contact Pastor Kiesha if you have questions.
COMPUTERS NEEDED AS CLASSES BEGIN
Beginning Sunday, March 14th at 4:00p.m., Rae Foerster, 393-3934, and Lon Gay
will be conducting very basic computer classes. Classes are free but space is
limited to eight (8) participants. Please indicate on the Friendship Register if you
are interested. If you have a computer you could donate please contact Wally
Morey (887-4041); computer must have Windows XP or higher.

alone.

Anya, Megan Mann’s friend, hospitalized with pneumonia.
Carolyn Goodfellow is having knee replacement surgery March 18th.
Sonya, Doris Leland’s granddaughter with Down Syndrome has to wear a heart
monitor for slow heartbeat; she’s had a bone marrow test and two platelet
transfusions.
Billy Hampton, friend of Arlene & Sharon Keller, is hospitalized; he has been
diagnosed with herpes on his lung following a lung flush.
