Dear Friends,
It is so wonderful to be a part of a church that continues to open our arms to the
guests God sends us. Regularly I hear how a welcoming the people at South are to
visitors. Such praise shows that we are on the path of becoming God's hands and
feet to this community!
This week we will be inviting our children to join us in the morning worship
service as we celebrate our regular Family Sunday Worship! Pastor Kiesha and
her team will be sharing some of the exciting parts of PowerHouse will us. At
South, our family extends to each person who comes through our doors. We are all
brothers and sisters in Christ, and this week we will be celebrating our family
together!
As followers of Christ, we want to continually reach out to those around us and
show them the love of God. Last week, we launched our Community Garden and
Angel Food Ministries, which are designed to serve those around us. We also are
highlighting our IMAGE class, Grief Support Ministry, and annual Easter
Eggstraveganza. All of these are designed to support our local community. This
week we will be continuing sign-ups for all these ministries in the foyer after the
morning worship service. I encourage each of us to pray about where God can us
in the upcoming months.
I also want to encourage everyone who is able to attend our All-Church Spring
Retreat. The dates are March 14-15 at Saginaw Valley Church of the Nazarene. This
will be a wonderful time that you will find very rewarding!
I want to thank everyone who is participating in our new Online Church
Directory. If you did not get your picture taken and have a picture we can use,
please submit it to the church office at southnaz@southnaz.org.
Just a reminder...pick up a copy of the monthly Finance Statement and weekly
Praise & Prayer Sheet in the plastic information rack located in the foyer. There are
still copies of our Transition Report available at the Welcome Desk. We look
forward to seeing you on Sunday... The theme is, "Our Local Mission." Chins up,
knees down, great days ahead...you are loved...
