Jesi’s love for Jesus and seeing others grow in their relationship with Him and knowledge of His Word is what drives her in her role as associate pastor.  She has ministered to youth for over 20 years and continues to do that alongside her other roles at the church.  Jesi is an ordained elder in the church of the Nazarene and a graduate from Grand Valley State University where she got a degree in Secondary Education. Jesi’s primary job has been raising and homeschooling her and Travis’ children.  Other than spending time with her family, Jesi enjoys playing her guitar, traveling, boating, and being outdoors. 

Aaron Roehm is a graduate of Southern Nazarene University and is an ordained minister in the Church of the Nazarene.  He served as Worship Pastor at First Church of the Nazarene in San Antonio, Texas as well as Sparks Nazarene Church in Sparks, NV before moving to Lansing.  He enjoys spending time with his wife, Erin, and their three children.  Aaron loves Jesus and sharing that love with people through art including music, building things, use of technology, or film making.  A few of Aaron’s hobbies include playing board games, riding bicycles, enjoying books and movies, and learning how to do new things on YouTube.

Hannah is a graduate of Olivet Nazarene University (Bachelor of Science Degree in Youth Ministry) and Nazarene Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity). She is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene. Hannah’s favorite part of youth ministry is going on different trips with students. She is married to her high school sweetheart, David. They both love all things Kansas City, board games, and playing with their puppy, Bear.

Pastor Maddie grew up in Jackson, Michigan and attended Spring Arbor University. She felt the call to ministry when she was in high school and fully accepted the call during college. Pastor Maddie’s favorite part about working with kids is listening to the stories they tell. In her free time, she enjoys being outside, reading, playing with her dog, and spending time with family.

Bobby grew up attending SouthNaz and felt a call to ministry at a young age. Throughout his childhood and youth, he had a passion to engage with his community, and that passion is what drives him now in his current role. Bobby is pursuing his pastoral education at Nazarene Bible College. He enjoys quality time with his wife and children and spending time on the lake when he can.

Marilyn, a graduate of Ferris State University, joined the SouthNaz Staff in April of 2013 and has been a member of the church since 1996. She thanks Jesus every day for the wonderful opportunity of being a part of the SouthNaz Staff. Marilyn loves being a part of the worship team and enjoys power walking, pickleball, reading, and traveling. Spending time with her family is always her number one fun activity!

Carolyn serves as Lay Minister of Spiritual Care at SouthNaz and leads the Spiritual Care Ministry and team members. She has been a member of this church since 1983 and has served the church by working in the children's department, in women's ministry, and with evangelism and outreach programs. Carolyn is retired and a widow, losing her loving husband Dave in 2018. She is a mother to two sons and daughters-in-laws and is blessed with many grandchildren.
